    Position Description

    Do you enjoy planning large social events within the community?  We are currently seeking an Event Sales Manager to work with our exciting, fast-paced sales team at our Embassy Suites by Hilton Lincoln, NEYou’ll enjoy excellent benefits, including a 401(k) plan, associate incentives, and discount programs.  

     

     

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • This position will focus on large social events for 100 – 800 guests.
    • Overall department support for our group and event sales department, an Embassy Suites with 252 suites and 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
    • Generation of top line catering revenue for the hotel
    • Maximizing all revenue potential
    • Up-selling additional events/amenities

     

    The Ideal Candidate for This Position:

    • Education: Degree in Hotel Restaurant Administration, Sales & Marketing, Business, or related field
    • Experience: Minimum two (2) years hospitality or sales experience; Delphi experience is a plus.
    • OR, equivalent combination of education and work experience
