    Position Description

    Director of Sales Needed for the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lincoln, NE

     

    The key Job Responsibilities for this position include:

     

    • Overall department leadership for our group and event sales department, an Embassy Suites with 252 suites and over 12,000 square feet of meeting space.
    • You will work with the sales and revenue optimization teams to plan, implement and manage key strategies to grow market share, RevPAR, and gross revenues.
    • You will establish and monitor key relationships with CVB, key accounts, and Event decision makers.
    • As DOS you will have a unique opportunity to grow leaders for the property and for the company! You will interview, select, coach, and train a high-performance team.
    • You will mentor sales associates and help them to grow their selling skills
    • Develop and execute annual sales budgets and establish sales productivity goals and performance objectives for your sales team members.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    Qualified candidates will have a four-year degree in Business Administration and four (4) years of applicable experience or a combination of both.  General Manager, AGM, DOS, DOC or Hotel Sales experience in a larger property is a plus.

     

    The individual selected for this key leadership role will be expected to reside in the Lincoln, NE, metropolitan area.  Home of the flagship University of Nebraska- Lincoln, the city is known for being culturally diverse and is nationally recognized for its quality of life.
